Music was an important part of life early on for Frank Bright.
The sounds of his father’s piano and fiddle playing could often
be heard emanating from the family home in Lookout Mountain,
Tennessee. It was only natural then when Frank started playing
piano at the age of eight. He continued to nurture his love
of music, and by his teenage years, Frank was also playing the
guitar and dobro. His first professional experience came while
attending Davidson College in North Carolina. There Frank started
playing piano for special events and dinners in and around the
Davidson campus. After graduating from Davidson, Frank moved
to Atlanta to pursue a masters degree in theology at Emory University.
While in Atlanta, Frank Continued his music career playing for
private parties and restaurants, including stints at the Sounds
of Buckhead and Marchello’s Italian Restaurant. His professional
credentials also include a summer program studying jazz composition
at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachussetts.
Now a resident of Savannah, Georgia, Frank continues to charm
audiences with his simple yet elegant piano stylings. His repertoire
includes a broad range of timeless standards as well as contemporary
favorites. His impeccable musicianship combined with his engaging
personality make Frank Bright the perfect choice for your dinner
party or special occasion. |
